Brief description It is now well recognised that child health and development has consequences for health later in life. The desire to ensure that the maximum number of children reach their full potential as adults is of critical important to our future societies. This globally relevant program of research will provide governments, parents and communities crucial guidance as to what can be done to support the healthy development of children, particularly those living in poor and marginalised circumstances.
