Average annual number of reportable safety incidents in the last 5 years.

Safety incidents on commercial fishing vessels are those where this is a consequence for persons on board (crew, skippers and/or passengers). These consequences may be injury, person over-board or fatalities.

Statement: Step 1: Search for reported safety incidents involving injury or death in the past 5 years: - In the following database: https://www.atsb.gov.au/occurrence-briefs - Using a general search with the fishery name to identify any reported incidents If no data are available for the fishery in the past 5 years, report "Data not found" and the year of data collection for the framework. Step 2: Calculate and report the annual average number of incidents for the fishery using the number of incidents identified per year in the past 5 years. Report the year of data collection for the framework.
