Playback and observational data recorded as part of research designed to test whether female fairy-wrens increased incubation call rate when cuckoo song was experimentally broadcast near the nest.\n\nIncubation calls of female superb superb fairy-wrens were recorded in-nest at 17 nests for two hours during incubation (on day 10-11) and two hours during chick begging (on day 4-6 post-hatching).\n\nCalls were recorded as described in Colombelli-Négrel et al.
