Brief description
These data provide counts of spiders and skinks on a cacao farm where trees in plots were treated or untreated with cacao husks, and trees within plots either had ants present or excluded from trees.
Full description
The research evaluates the effects of the addition of cacao husks to cacao plots on and the addition of artificial pollination, in the presence and absence of Oecophylla smaragdina ants on the densities of skinks and spiders. The findings suggest that the addition of cacao husks increase the abundance of skinks and spiders. Column titles are Date (date samples were collected), Fortnight (samples were collected fortnightly), Plot (the individual plot identifier), Tree (the individual tree identifier), Husk (present = 1, absent = 0), Ant presence (1 = present, 0 = excluded), Spiders (number of spiders observed), Skinks (number of skinks observed)
