The Basil Sellers Art Prize is a national high profile prize exhibition. 3 August - 4 November 2012 14 Artists were selected from over 200 applicants Shortlisted artists for the 2012 prize and exhibition were: Brook Andrew, Richard Bell, Lauren Brincat, Jon Campbell, Eugene Carchesio, Greg Creek, Louise Hearman, Pat Macan, Gabriella Mangano and Silvana Mangano, Simon Perry, Kerrie Poliness, Patrick Pound, Sangeeta Sandrasegar and Christian Thompson. Selected by a prestigous judging panel including Dr Chris McAullife ( Ian Potter diector) Erica Green( Director of the Samstag Museum of Art Adelaide). My work was selected for is oringinalty and high qualily investigation into the contemporay and historical relationship between art , spotrt and representations of the body. The exhibition received extensive national press coverage and my work was singled out as significant and of high quality.
