Brief description Bronchiectasis is a lung disease associated with chronic infection and inflammation that has prevalence of 1.5% in Aboriginal Australian children and occurs in early childhood, is associated with co-morbidities and causes premature mortality. Bronchiectasis is largely preventable in children when diagnosed and treated early. The study aims to determine better ways to diagnose bronchiectasis earlier and to facilitate effective management in Aboriginal children in Western Australia.
