Full description 1 in 2 people with diabetes have mental health problems. These problems often stay hidden and people with diabetes don’t receive support. We don’t understand what causes mental health problems over time. We also don’t understand when the best time is to help. Keeping an eye on mental health and providing support to people with diabetes at the right time will help to overcome these problems. This research will address these gaps and improve the mental health of Australian adults with diabetes.
