Researchers: Dr Jesse Jansen (Principal investigator)

Brief description The prevention of cardiovascular disease (CVD) could play a significant role in improving the health and quality of life of older adults. However, guidance for treating adults aged 75+ is limited and they may not be receiving the appropriate CVD care. This project will explore the opinions of doctors and older adults regarding the prevention of CVD and develop a tool to support decision-making in this area. The research will positively influence the prevention of CVD among older Australians.
