This dataset contains temperature data obtained from XBTs (expendable bathythermographs) deployed by vessels during different cruises in the Tasman Sea.\n\nExpendable Bathythermographs (XBTs) have been used for many years by oceanographers to measure the temperature of the upper ocean.
