Any real features of the profile are flagged as well and these flags can be used to study the occurrence of such features (inversions, fine structure, 'steps', etc). Brief description

This dataset contains temperature data obtained from XBTs (expendable bathythermographs) deployed by vessels during different cruises between Tahiti and Auckland (New Zealand).
