Brief description

'Ships of Opportunity' (SOOP) is a facility of the Australian 'Integrated Marine Observing System' (IMOS) project. This data set was collected by the SOOP sub-facility 'Sensors on Tropical Research Vessels' aboard the RV Cape Ferguson Trip 4714.

Instrumentation was deployed for measuring Fluorescence at 1.9m on trip 4714 from 30 Sep 2008 through to 13 Oct 2008, and the installation was located at/on RV Cape Ferguson. Sensor deployed was a Wet Labs FLNTU-RT Optical sensor (Turbidity and Fluorescence) manufactured by Wetlabs, model FLNTU-RT.
