Full description

The QLD One Tree East Mooring (IMOS Platform Code: GBROTE) is one of three moorings near Heron Island, and one of five moorings offshore from Gladstone in Queensland, Australia at Latitude: -23.483, Longitude: 152.172 (approximate, adjustments with each deployment).

The mooring’s sensors are adjusted and potentially change with each deployment, below is an example from 2009:
- SBE19Plus CTD
- RDI Workhorse ADCP
- 3x SBE39 temperature recorders
- 2x WetLabs Water Quality Meters

The One Tree East mooring is sometimes referred to as "Heron Island East".
