They have been superseded by new gridded products developed in collaboration with technical experts from the IMOS National Mooring Network and Deep-water Moorings facilities as part of the Moorings Time Series Products project. Since February 2020, the new products are available via a new collection (IMOS - Moorings - Gridded time-series product: https://catalogue-imos.aodn.org.au:443/geonetwork/srv/api/records/279a50e3-21a5-4590-85a0-71f963efab82). They will be regularly updated with new data.Maintenance and Update Frequency: notPlannedStatement: The data files contain the aggregated, averaged and regridded temperature data product measured during mooring deployments. The product has been produced using only QC flagged 1 and 2 data (good and probably good data). The following steps have been carried out to generate this product: first all single-depth temperature data time-series have been aggregated into profile time-series. A 30-min average has been calculated for each single depth logger record. A minimum of 3 valid data per 30 min step was required for the computation of the mean value. If this condition was not met, a fill value of 999999 was applied. The resulting averaged results have been interpolated over depth onto a regular grid of 5 metres vertical resolution. Brief description

The Australian National Mooring Network Facility is a series of national reference stations and regional moorings designed to monitor particular oceanographic phenomena in Australian coastal ocean waters.
