Such precise coverage is ideal for applications at national and regional scales from 1:250,000 to 1:15,000. SPOT 6 also includes the benefits of the near-infrared (NIR) which enables applications for detection of features not visible to the human eye, such as detecting and monitoring vegetation health.\r\n\r\nData products supplied for all of NSW are:\r\n\r\n1. __State-wide mosaic High Definition 75cm resolution (GDA2020)__\r\n\r\n2. Brief description

The NSW SPOT 2025 imagery product is a state-wide satellite dataset for NSW Government. The SPOT 2025 satellite data acquisition period was from December 2024 to May 2025. The imagery scenes used to create the NSW mosaic includes Lord Howe Island. This imagery data set has been acquired through GeoImage Pty Ltd and Airbus Defence and Space.

SPOT satellites offer high resolution imaging over broad areas in a single pass at resolutions up to 1.5m. Such precise coverage is ideal for applications at national and regional scales from 1:250,000 to 1:15,000. SPOT 6 also includes the benefits of the near-infrared (NIR) which enables applications for detection of features not visible to the human eye, such as detecting and monitoring vegetation health.

Data products supplied for all of NSW are:

1. __State-wide mosaic High Definition 75cm resolution (GDA2020)__

2. State-wide mosaic 1.5m resolution (WGS84 and GDA2020/NSW Lambert)

3. 100k Mapsheet tiles (GDA2020)

4. Multi spectral scenes (GDA94 and GDA2020)

5. Pan sharpened scenes (GDA94 and GDA2020)

6. Panchromatic scenes (GDA94 and GDA2020)

7. Shapefile cutlines of statewide mosaic (WGS 84 and GDA2020)


The statewide mosaic comes with RGB enhancements with 1:10 compression of the pansharpened imagery in ECW (63GB) and JP2000 (84GB) format. Individual 100k mapsheet mosaics contain RGB+NIR band combination; unenhanced 16-bit GeoTIFF format tile.

The NSW mosaic is available from internal DCCEEW APOLLO Image Webserver for DCCEEW employees.

The 4band 100k mapsheet tiles are available for download from JDAP(pending).
The rectified multispectral, pan sharpened and panchromatic scenes are available for download from JDAP (pending)
