Brief description

This is a series of datasets covering the State of Queensland displaying hydrographic features. Features are attributed with source information, perennially, hierarchy and names where available. Watercourses are connected and flow directed. Connectors flow through waterbodies to create a linear network for hydrological modelling. Datasets include: - Watercourses, Canals, Lakes - natural waterbodies, Reservoirs - man-made waterbodies, Flats including saline coastal flats, swamps, Pondage areas including aquaculture, settling ponds, Waterfalls

Hydrographic features - Queensland series - REST Service - For use in desktop and web applications capable of connecting to ArcGIS REST map service endpoints.
Hydrographic features - Queensland series - WMS Service - For use in desktop and web applications capable of connecting to Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) web map service endpoints. Some clients append request parameters for the service capabilities file so depending on your client in use you may have to remove the parameters when copying the url below.

Canal areas - Queensland - This topographic dataset is a subset of the feature class Waterbody Areas. This dataset displays both natural and constructed waterbodies (generally greater than 625 m2) within the State of Queensland.
Canal lines - Queensland - This topographic dataset displays man-made open channels (linear features) which provide for the distribution or removal of water for irrigation purposes, or for significant infrastructure functions or are constructed as part of a residential development (canal estates) covering the State of Queensland.
Flats - Queensland - This topographic dataset is a subset of the feature class Waterbody Areas. This dataset displays both natural and constructed waterbodies (generally greater than 625 m2)within the State of Queensland.
Lakes - Queensland - This topographic dataset is a subset of the feature class Waterbody Areas. It displays both natural and constructed Lakes (generally greater than 625 m2) within the State of Queensland.
Major watercourse lines - Queensland - This topographic dataset displays both natural and constructed watercourse lines (a way or course through which water flows from time-to-time) covering the State of Queensland.
Pondage - Queensland - This topographic dataset displays constructed ponds (generally greater than 625m2) used for commercial or industrial purposes within the State of Queensland
Reservoirs - Queensland - This topographic dataset is a subset of the feature class Waterbody Areas. This dataset displays both natural and constructed waterbodies (generally greater than 625m2) within the State of Queensland.
Watercourse areas - Queensland - This topographic dataset is a subset of the feature class Waterbody Areas. This dataset displays both natural and constructed waterbodies (generally greater than 625m2) within the State of Queensland.
Watercourse lines - Bulloo drainage division - This topographic dataset is a subset of the feature class Watercourse Lines. It does not contain the information from the dataset Canal Lines. This dataset displays the watercourse lines (a natural way or course through which water flows from time-to-time) covering the Bulloo Drainage Division of Queensland and is a subset of the Watercourse Lines - Queensland dataset.
Watercourse lines - Gulf drainage division - This topographic dataset displays the watercourse lines (a natural way or course through which water flows from time-to-time) covering the Gulf Drainage Division of Queensland and is a subset of the Watercourse Lines - Queensland dataset.
