## **Dataset History**

Line segments from the Geofabric Network Streams s source dataset were grouped into reach sections based on descriptions in the accompanying lookup table (supplied by Surface Water Modelling team) using the surface water node locations and described river junctions and other defined locations as spatial reference. Reaches were given a unique ID and dissolved into a multpart lines. There is also a Network version which further breaks the reaches into their Riverine Landscape classes.
