Brief description

## **Abstract**

The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.

The dataset contains 2 shapefiles one representing the internal boundary lines that divide up the Sydney bioregion into 5 coalfields and the other is a boundary file defining the area of the geological model for the Hunter subregion .

CoalFieldContours_HUN_NSW_mga56_V01.shp - polyline feature created from the NSW coalfield boundaries polygon and represents the internal boundaries of the coalfields that make up the Hunter subregion.

BigContourRegion_HUN_NSW_mga56_v01.shp - A boundary polygon defining the extent of the geological model.

## **Dataset History**

The shapefile CoalFieldContours_HUN_NSW_mga56_V01.shp was extracted as a polyline feature, from the NSW coalfield boundaries polygon, and represents the internal boundaries of the coalfileds that make up the Hunter subregion.

BigContourRegion_HUN_NSW_mga56_v01.shp - A boundary polygon defining the extent of the geological model which was digitised in ArcGIS to encompass the Hunter groundwater model boundary extent.
