To determine whether the number of people varied with day-type, the days were grouped according to whether they fell during school holidays (including Easter) or term times and whether they were weekdays or on weekends. Weekends included any public holidays whether or not those holidays fell on actual weekends. Brief description

This data was collected to quantify the recreational use of the Bunurong Marine Park. Observations were made on 139 days at 11 locations within the Park from 8th January 1990 to the 22nd April 1991. At each location the number of people and the activity of each person on the reef were recorded.
