Research Investment

Researchers: Webster, Angela (Principal investigator)

Brief description One of nine initial node establishment projects in the
HeSANDA infrastructure network. The core functions of nodes are: • To curate and
provide descriptions of clinical trials research data and documentation and make
that information available to the HeSANDA network (akin to a research and data
catalogue). • To work with their data owners and custodians to implement common
data access arrangements. The aim of Node projects is to: • Contribute to the
infrastructure’s Design Phase • Implement the outputs of the Design Phase at
their node during the Development Phase and ensure the successful operation of
their node within the HeSANDA network during the Test & Deployment Phase. •
Contribute to the Development Phase working groups to design the
post-establishment operation of HeSANDA. Key deliverables for Node projects are:
• Existence of sustainable infrastructure that can be shown to support data
sharing • Availability of data from the Nominated Trials • Capacity and
processes to make the data from future trials available as part of business as
usual.
