Housing SA Housing Register by Selected Areas

Brief description

The number of customers who selected an area they were prepared to live in on the housing register as at 30 June. Customers may select more than one area.

The dataset includes: the area code, selected area, and total housing registered in that area.

Note:

•\tHousing register data is captured at a point in time.

•\tData includes public and Aboriginal applications only.

•\tArea Code ‘999 other country’ includes individual country towns.

•\tTowns that aren’t included in the dataset are areas where Housing SA has no public and/or Aboriginal properties.

Excludes:

- Transfer applications.

­- Deferred applications. Applications are deferred due to extended non-contact or at a customer’s request when they are unable to accept housing (e.g. unable to break lease, hospitalisation etc.)

­- Incomplete applications.
