Brief description Elimination of hepatitis C in Australia may be possible with the availability of new oral direct-acting antiviral treatment. This research will evaluate the impact of treatment scale-up on hepatitis C prevalence and incidence, focussing on vulnerable populations with a high burden of infection. Access to hepatitis C care and treatment will be essential if we are to achieve elimination and ensure that no one is left behind.
