Brief description

Data that assesses the community’s willingness to support waterway improvement actions, and the benefits derived from waterway use.

Notes

Two main measures; 1. A measure of the communities a) attitudes towards waterways, b) behaviour on/around waterways and c) the capacity the community has to protect and manage waterways across six management categories; tourism and recreation, storm water management, wetland and riparian habitat management, point source management, land management, and construction site management. 2. A measure of the social benefit derived from waterways - visitation, infrastructure (the ability to visit) and whether the community values waterways (self reporting).

Data time period: 2016
