Full description

The Harry Brookes Allen Museum of Anatomy and Pathology is situated in the Medical Building of the University of Melbourne's Parkville campus.
While not usually open to the general public, there are opportunities throughout the year for various groups to visit the museum, including the University's annual Open Day, held in August.
The anatomy and pathology collection consists of approximately 12,000 specimens and artefacts.
Most of the museum is arranged according to systems of the human body (e.g. cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal).
The exhibits are rotated throughout the year so that they correspond with the various curricula of students using the museum.
There is also a collection of historic artefacts including anatomical models from the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
