For instance, while kebahagiaan ‘happiness’ and kesenangan ‘pleasure’ are frequently described as a desired goal, this metaphor is much less frequent for kegembiraan ‘joy’, described more frequently as a contained liquid (e.g., kegembiraan terpancar ‘joy is spurted out’).
