Full description

Goulburn Police Station was possibly established by 1826 as Argyle Police Station when the Chief Constable was Appointed there (1) The station was possibly known as Goulbourn plains by 1828 when ordinary Constables were appointed there (2) . By 1836 the station appears to have been known as Goulbourn and Bungonia (3) The station later became a head station of the South-Eastern district (by 1863) followed by the Southern district in 1875 and the Northern district in 1889
