Consists of the former Shires of East Loddon [VA 2426] and Korong [VA 636], the former Shire of Gordon [VA 2434] less Kow Swamp, the Tarnagulla district of the former Shire of Bet Bet [VA 2391], the Loddon River district of the former Rural City of Marong [VA 2464] and the Laanecoorie Reservoir district of the former Shire of Maldon [VA 2462] and Shire of Tullaroop [VA 2519].
