Brief description
The Glycemic Index Website provides access to the International Glycemic Index (GI) Database. The International Glycemic Index Database is managed by the Human Nutrition Unit in the School of Molecular Biosciences, at the University of Sydney. The website is updated and maintained by the University's GI Group, which includes research scientists and dietitians working in the areas of glycemic index, health and nutrition including research into diet and weight loss, diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
The Glycemic Index Website and the International Glycemic Index Database are led by Professor Jennie Brand-Miller, Professor of Molecular Bioscience at the University of Sydney.
