Glenvale (Primary School No. 727)

Glenvale State School No. 727 opened on 30 October 1865.

Between 1881 and 1886 the school worked part-time with Upper Plenty State School No. 1244, before becoming full-time from 1 March 1886.

This primary school closed a number of times. The first period of operation was from its establishment in 1865 to 1895. It reopened between 1902 and 1925, and again in 1927 until its permanent closure in 1946.
