Geraldton Beach - Western Australia

The camera is located on the Geraldton surf lifesaving club on Tarcoola beach. The camera looks over the foredune with limited view of the shoreline to SW (100m), and only waves close to camera. There are distance views south along the beach and surf and only waves to west. The beach is exposed to southerly ocean swells with waves averaging over 1 m, and occasionally reaching 2 to 3 m on the more open Tarcoola section where they maintain a continuous bar cut by rips every few hundred meters. The beach type is LTT.
