This metadata record describes a georeferenced satellite image of Macquarie Island captured on December 22, 1994 by the French SPOT satellite.

The image was produced for the Australian Antarctic Division by

AUSLIG Commercial (now known as Geoscience Australia), in Australia. The image was produced from SPOT3 Pan and XS scenes.

It is projected on a UTM, zone 57 projection.
