Brief description

Output from a high-resolution global ocean simulation, using the GFDL MOM3.1 ocean code and constant forcing. Twenty years experiment (1982-2001). Output is stored for salinity, temperature, velocity, sea surface height, salt and heat flux as monthly averages and snapshots. This 20-year constant forcing experiment was initialised using the Gouretski and Jancke (1998) dataset, and uses flux-restoring surface boundary conditions and wintertime boundary conditions in both hemispheres.
