## **Abstract**

This dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme. The parent datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.



This dataset contains water level data for artesian and non-artesian bores within the Galilee subregion.

## **Dataset History**

1. Bores in the REGISTRATION table of the QLD Department of Natural Resources and Mining Groundwater Database Extract 20131111 (GUID: 827e70b3-29d5-4e89-8d59-a93bc499de60) dataset (QLD GWDB) with a 'Facility Type' value of 'AB', 'AF', 'AU', 'AC' or 'AS' were identified as artesian.

2. Water levels for each of these bores were extracted from the 'SWL' field of the 'PUMP_TEST_SUMMARY' table from the QLD GWDB, along with measurement date; 'RDATE'.

3. Using the date field, 'Days between', 'Cumulative days' and 'Cumulative years' between measurements were derived for each bore

1. Water levels for bores within the Galilee subregion were extracted from the 'MEASUREMENT' field of the 'WATER_LEVELS' table from the QLD GWDB, along with measurement date; 'RDATE'.
