Galaxy Density Slopes for Galaxies in the SAMI Galaxy Survey

Galaxy density slopes for a selection of SAMI Galaxy Survey Galaxies. Columns are described as follows: CATID: unique identifier associated with the galaxy, as assigned by the SAMI Galaxy Survey. Gamma: Density slope of the galaxy. Gamma_Min: 16th percentile value of the convergence of the determination of density slope using EMCEE. Gamma_Max: 84th percentile value of the convergence of the determination of density slope using EMCEE. Chi2: χ^2 value for the kinematic fit of the best-fit JAM kinematic field in comparison to the SAMI Galaxy Survey kinematic field. Reduced_Chi2: Chi2 divided by the number of used pixels in the FoV. z_spec: spectroscopic redshift of the galaxy, drawn from the SAMI Galaxy Survey Catalogues. r_e: effective radius of the galaxy (kpc), drawn from the SAMI Galaxy Survey Catalogues. Mstar: stellar mass of the galaxy (M_*/M_☉), drawn from the SAMI Galaxy Survey Catalogues. Morphology: Morphological classification of the galaxy, drawn from the SAMI Galaxy Survey Catalogues. Cluster_Galaxy: Boolean value identifying whether the galaxy is a cluster, or non-cluster galaxy. Sigma_e: Central Velocity Dispersion of the galaxy, drawn from the SAMI Galaxy Survey Catalogues. R_on_rtwo: For cluster galaxies, the projected cluster-centric radius of the galaxy (R), divided by the critical density radius of the cluster (R_200), ie: R/R_200. Values drawn from the SAMI Galaxy Survey Catalogues V_on_sigma: Line of sight velocity of the galaxy relative to the cluster (V), divided by the velocity dispersion of the cluster (σ), ie: V/σ. Values drawn from the SAMI Galaxy Survey Catalogues. Good_Fit_Flag: Boolean flag thrown up by my processing if it detects that it was unable to determine an appropriate EMCEE fit of the galaxy. Galaxies with this value as FALSE should be ignored. QualityCat: Visual categorisation of the goodness of the fits. This is defined as two numbers, with values of either 1 (excellent), 2 (average), or 3 (poor) for the goodness of the convergence histogram of density slope (first number) or the similarity between the model kinematic map to the SAMI kinematic map (second number). Galaxies with a value of 3 in either category (ie. 13, 31, 23, 32, 33) should be removed from the sample.
