Elicited by Sora linguist Opino Gomango, this in-depth grammar collection includes 2401 Sora phrases recorded by Lanjia-Sor speaker and cultural expert Srinivas Gomango (each audio file in this item contains between 40 and 50 elicited phrases, and all linguistic data and analysis is included here). We elicited transitive and instransitive verbs, negative and positive verbs, noun phrases of varying sizes with various different modifiers, simple sentences with direct and indirect objects, complex sentences (with relative, conditional, complement and adverbial subordinate clauses), participle and converb clauses, imperatives and prohibitives, interrogatives and others. This content was annotated, glossed and translated by Gregory D. S. Anderson. It is made available in this collection with ELAN annotation files that correlate with audio recordings. .
