Full description
The GAM Scott herbarium collection consists of hundreds of bryophytes from the UK, New Zealand and Australia. In 1997 Scott's collection from the Monash University Herbarium was donated to the University of Melbourne to consolidate his collection for his research as he was an Honorary Associate at the School of Botany. Scott's collection of more than 1000 liverworts includes several type specimens, but is predominantly significant because it is a comprehensive representative set of liverworts from all over Australia.
