Brief description
Fruit phenology survey on the Robson Creek 25 ha plot commenced in July 2011 and was carried out by Matt Bradford (CSIRO, Atherton). Three transects were established. Transect 1 from 100 m, 100 m to 400 m, 100 m. Transect 2 from 100 m, 200 m to 400 m, 200 m. Transect 3 from 100 m, 300 m to 400 m, 300 m. Transects were 300 m in length and 5 m in width (2.5 m either side of the centre line). All ripe fruit on and above the ground within the confines of the transect was counted or estimated. Surveys were conducted in the last last week of each month. If a tagged individual was fruiting, the tag number was recorded. If an untagged individual was fruiting, the distance along the transect and the species was recorded. Data collection is ongoing.Data time period: 2011 to 2011
