Full description
The Shire of Frankston and Hastings was created by the renaming of the East and North Ridings of the Mornington Shire (see VA 4013) on 20 October 1893.In 1960 the Centre and East Ridings of the Shire were severed to form a new Shire of Hastings (see VA 746) and the remaining Ridings were renamed the Shire of Frankston (see VA 2332).
