Full description

Multibeam echosounder data collected on Franklin voyage 01/2002 using a high resolution multibeam echosounder (supplied by James Cook University) to acquire seafloor bathymetry and backscatter information. This voyage took place in Torres Strait and the Gulf of Papua during January and February 2002. Ping rate varied according to depth. Geoscience Australia have supplied processesed data (.gsf and MBSystem code 121 files).
