Full description

This dataset contains the processed Conductivity-Temperature-Depth (CTD) data collected on Franklin voyage FR 04/99. The voyage took place between Darwin and Dampier in Australias Tropical North West Shelf during June and July 1999. This dataset has been processed and is archived within the CSIRO Marine and Atmospheric Research Data Centre in Hobart. Additional information regarding this dataset is contained in the cruise report for this voyage and/or the data processing report.

Statement: Data source: original field data Data processing and quality control: according to current CMR Data Centre CTD data processing manual. The dissolved oxygen sensor data was calibrated using bottle data collected on the voyage and software written by Lindsay Pender ("procDO" version 1, June 1999). The bottle data, CTD salinity and temperature data had been processed for this voyage and this calibration was applied to the resulting binned data.
