The program combined the single ping ADCP data records with the 3DF GPS heading, pitch and roll data from the raw *.gpa files to produce 3 minute *.adp files which were then processed in the usual manner to produce processed ADCP files with names containing _3df. Reference layer averaging for the production of the *.adp files was over bins 2 to 8. This dataset contains the processed Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) data collected on Franklin voyage FR 01/2000. he voyage took place in the Coral Sea, Solomon Sea and Bismark Sea off the Sepik during January and February 2000. This dataset has been processed and is archived within the CSIRO Marine and Atmospheric Research Data Centre in Hobart. Additional information regarding this dataset is contained in the cruise report for this voyage and/or the data processing report (as available).
