The 3DF GPS heading was chosen in preference to the gyrocompass heading to produce the 20 minute profiles in fr9904_all.any. Full description

This dataset contains the processed Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) data collected on Franklin voyage FR 04/99. The voyage took place between Darwin and Dampier in Australias Tropical North West Shelf during June and July 1999.This dataset has been processed and is archived within the CSIRO Marine and Atmospheric Research Data Centre in Hobart. Additional information regarding this dataset is contained in the cruise report for this voyage and/or the data processing report (as available).
