Full description

This dataset contains the processed Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) data collected on Franklin voyage FR 01/95. The voyage took place in the Australian North West Shelf region during 10-24 January 1995. This dataset has been processed and is archived within the CSIRO Marine and Atmospheric Research Data Centre in Hobart. Additional information regarding this dataset is contained in the cruise report for this voyage and/or the data processing report (as available).

Woodside Offshore Petroleum - permission to moor instruments and operate within the 5 nm protected zone around the North Rankin platform and also provided 5 acoustic current meters for mooring M4B. Steedman Science and Engineering - for suggesting and constructing the M4B mooring, and for the loan of their thermistor chain for mooring M5A.
