All food businesses receive an Eat Safe food safety star rating of either [no star, two, three, four or five stars](https://www.brisbane.qld.gov.au/laws-and-permits/laws-and-permits-for-businesses/food-business-licence/star-ratings-eat-safe-brisbane) at the end of a food safety audit conducted by an authorised Brisbane City Council officer.
Businesses that demonstrate good levels of food safety will receive three or more stars and can choose to [display their food safety star rating onsite and online](https://www.brisbane.qld.gov.au/community-and-safety/community-safety/eat-safe-brisbane/eat-safe-star-rating-search?search=&category=All&suburb=All).
