Full description

Data were collected via an online self-report questionnaire during the six-month period, December 2015 to June 2016. Complete and valid data were provided by 299 female partners of male sex addicts. Data includes screening, demographic and relationship information, and participant responses to four published psychometric measures designed to assess PTSD (PTSD Checklist for DSM-5; PCL-5; Blevins et al., 2015), depression (Patient Health Questionnaire; PHQ-9; Kroenke et al., 2001), positive and negative social support (Positive and Negative Social Exchanges Scale; Newsom et al., 2005), and cognitive world assumptions (World Assumptions Questionnaire; Kaler, 2009).

Notes

The dataset is available in .sav (SPSS) and .csv formats. To protect participant confidentiality, identifying information (IP address, longitude/latitude data, and email addresses) has been removed from the dataset. The questionnaire is publicly available as a PDF attachment.
