Since the late 1940s, ACMI has collected key feature-length films, produced both in Australia and overseas. At present, the Feature Film Collection numbers to over 5,700 feature films available in 16mm and 35mm film, DVD and VHS, used extensively for film societies and film literacy programs, as well as being accessible to the general public.
