Researchers: Ms Anne Eades (Principal investigator)

Brief description One of the major factors for the poor health status of Aboriginal women in Australia has long been suspected as being due to late presentation leading to diagnosis at advanced stages of disease. In this ground-breaking research, PhD Candidate Anne-Marie Eades, will shine the light on how the roles played by Aboriginal women with chronic disease within their families influence their health outcomes. Ms Eades research has the potential to revolutionise health outcomes and care plans for managing chronic disease in Aboriginal women.
