Spirits and other excisable beverage clearances - Please be aware that due to the implementation of a new Excise reporting system there was no data available for weeks 7 and 8 of 2023-24. This data was processed during weeks 9 to 15 of 2023-24. \r\n\r\nSpirits and other excisable beverages clearance data provides the excisable litres of alcohol, cleared for home consumption, and reported by excise clients (generally domestic manufacturers) on their excise returns.\r\n\r\nThis report provides spirits and other excisable beverages clearance data by tariff subitem on a weekly basis. It includes data for the current financial year and financial years back to 2015-16, as well as historical summary data back to 2006-07.\r\n\r\nThis information is updated each month and may be useful to the alcohol industry, government agencies, universities and other interested parties.\r\nHistorical Excise Rates - Historical excise rates, for Petroleum, Alcohol and Tobacco back to 1965

Beer Clearance Summary Data - The ATO introduced a new Excise processing system in weeks 7 and 8 of 2023-24 which impacted the processing of Excise returns. Excise returns received during this period were processed in later weeks.
