Brief description Despite their benefits, medicines are often overused, underused and misused. In response, policy interventions are commonly used by governments to promote safe and cost-effective use of medicines. Yet, in Australia such interventions are rarely thoroughly evaluated in a timely manner. This project will generate high-quality evidence about the intended and unintended consequences of a range of medicine policies in Australia, using linked population health data.
