Eloise 36 Essay Collection

The collection is based on the Eloise 36 essay, created in 1998, which focuses on the actor Helen Twelvetrees and the citations that are linked into the essay. The most important of the citations are references that Eloise 36 wrote as part of her assignment assessment (that is a reference about book, newspaper article, journal, website, or picture relating to Helen Twelvetrees). Most of the records are linked via the actress Helen Twelvetrees, and/or the film title Thoroughbred (with detailed records on other important cast/crew including film director Ken Hall). This collection has been nominated for inclusion due to what Deb Verhoeven notes as the most exhaustive research undertaken on Helen Twelvetrees and the film Thoroughbred. Verhoeven felt that this information was so well researched and pointed to a new way of recording student research that it required a database to record it. This work was the catalyst for the creation of the Bonza database.
