Brief description Antiviral medication protects the health of HIV positive people and prevents HIV being transmitted to others. When taken by at-risk HIV negative people it prevents them becoming HIV infected. This proposal describes a series of projects which aim to maximise the effectiveness of these treatments in preventing HIV infection by studying the entire HIV positive and at risk population to identify gaps and delays in use of these interventions.
